| oh beej, although i never really knew you well, i guess i kind of felt you. i saw you around school and at a few events. i thought you were uber cool (and cute too). i thought you were great because you were a PC. your batch was the grade 12's when my batch were the newbies at camp alexandra. the only vivid memory i have of you, really, is you doing a dyad with jess and telling her to watch out for wrists. i'm really sad that you're gone. i've never felt so grieved over someone i didn't know very well. you were very special though. very very special. i hope you know that you are loved by so many people (you probably saw how full the church was at your funeral). i also hope and pray that you're okay. i hope that you're at peace. and i hope that you will be remembered forever. love you beej! | | |
| i must admit that this summer was one hell of a roller coaster. and i absolutely loved it. i've experienced things that have changed the path of my life one way or another. my pockets are now full of memories to last me 'til next summer and perhaps beyond that. i've learned how to live, love, and laugh, even everything in between, like crying and yelling, and being still. and to me, that's what it's all about. i've learned more about myself in two months than i've learned in the eighteen years i've lived. well, maybe not exactly. i let myself go this summer and so many opportunities and experiences just fell into my hands. and i took them. so now i can feel my life journey as an individual beginning and i believe i'm ready to face what's out there. thank you summer. and now for a bittersweet memory.. | | |
| SAN FRANCISCO 2006

Oh San Francisco. What an experience. The good the bad, the ups the downs (literally), the fast the slow. The dissonating feeling of being away from home for six days. What more can I say? I really don't know. Here are my pictures.

| 29th and 24th Annual BC/Yukon State Squires And Squirettes Convention
pictures say a thousand words. but these ones say way more. i'm proud of our circles. the girls truly showed a sense of community and friendship. the guy won three awards including best circle. congrats guys. we've got two girls, tiff and dee, on the squirette advisory circle of the bc/yukon district. oh and i gotta say that i'm proud of jay for getting elected for state notary squire! yay. we are awesome.
i can't leave. i just can't. too bad i'm aging out. but hey i'm coming back. as a counsellor. things are just beginning. six years of being a st. ann circle #7 squirette and it's not gonna stop now.
it's really nice being in squires and squirettes. it really is worth everything. what we do with in our own circles and what we do with other circles and witnessing the friendships starting and growing. it's amazing.
for more information on squires and squirettes ask me. now here's the album.
